Angelica is a genus of the Umbilliferous family Apiaceae, with about 50 species of tall perennial herbs 1-2 m tall with large bipinnate leaves and large compound umbels of white or greenish-white flowers. Some members are grown as a flavoring agent and for their medicinal properties. The most notable of these is Garden Angelica (Angelica archangelica) which is commonly known just as Angelica. Cystalised strips of angelica stem are green in colour and are sold as decorative and flavoursome cake decoration material.

Sea watch or Seacoast Angelica, Angelica lucida, has been eaten as a sort of "wild celery".
